Your next step depends on the way you write, and what you already know about your topic.
Know about beer - or great
places to drink it? Write about it.
My usual research method is to use the Internet to search for information. I read
it and evaluate its value before I place it into my research files. There are plenty
of resources on the Internet for every subject under the sun. Much of it will be
nothing more than a sales pitch for the latest ebook or marketing program. Some
of it will be personal experience and knowledge - this type of content is useful for
you to read and get a better feel for your subject.

Some material found on the Internet will be academic, or very high quality
authoritative information. You definitely want to put notes from this in your
research files. The idea of gathering this information is not to copy it for your
site - that is plagiarism, and will get your site ignored by the better search
engines.

Your purpose is to read it all and fully understand it, and then integrate the
information from many sources into a new and unique content site. Look for a
new angle on the information you have researched, or present it in a new way.
make the site feel like a conversation
between friends.
You can also use libraries to add to your research from books. Of course there is nothing like being able to engage your
readers with personal stories, so if you have experience in the field you are writing about, include these and make the site
feel like a conversation between friends rather than a school lecture.
Finally you need to put all these pages on a website -
thats how they earn income.
If you like to be super organised you will do best with a full file of research
before you commit word to paper. Be aware however, that research can be a
great means of procrastinating about actually writing content.

If you prefer the organic approach to writing you can begin by putting down
your basic ideas, and writing what you know, then researching further and
fleshing out your content.
Whichever approach you choose
you will have to do some research
at some point, unless you are a
world-class expert on your subject.
You can also join forums and discussion boards on the subject you are
writing about. As peoples opinions and ideas. You can use these in
your content, and later the forum will be a great place to market your
new site, as these people are already interested in your topic. Another
suggestion is to visit a local business, club, or venture that deals with
the topic, and interview staff (with permission), club members, etc.
Once you have finished researching you can write (or fill out) your
content. Keep writing and researching until you have 20 - 30 pages of
quality content.

Don't worry about how to divide up your pages just yet - you will find as
you research and write, that it falls naturally into sub topics which can
be your pages.
If you are really stuck, get a book from the library on the subject and look at the chapters - they will always show a logical
break down of the topic. Thing of your 20 - 30 pages a separate chapters in a book.
Finally you need to put all these pages on to a website. This
for some of you will be the hardest part. I will treat this topic
fully in my website page as there is a lot to write about.

To start off you don't need anything other than an Internet
connection, and a word processing program. Try
OpenOffice if you want a free one with lots of functionality.
Simply do your research and write your pages in a word
processor, then when you think your site is just about
complete, you can set up your website and simply copy and
paste your content.

If you like the idea of owning and operating a quality content
site optimised for Google adwords and other affiliate links,
but lack the time, or skills you have a couple of choices.
You can join SBI Sitesell, and let them teach you step by step, placing your content on their well run hosting site using one
of the best copy and paste site builders I have come across. They will also help you optimise your site content for search
engines so you get good traffic, and teach you a lot as you go.

Alternatively I develop quality content sites fully optimised and ready to go which I sell when they become available. These
sites are personalised to you, so you get the income from them, and can be hosted on your own hosting package, or I can
arrange hosting and set up for you. Please check my Products page regularly as details of ready sites are posted there
when they are available. Register your interest using the contact us form and you will be notified by email when a new site
becomes available.
